Thoughts from Founder

This is a common scene from the Annual Birthday Celebration given for the kids of the Children’s Home, many of whom don’t know their own birthdate. The Birthday Celebration is all about love. Love can look like a teenage girl that you’ve known since she was 9 years old crying as you tell her what you see in her that is special. You’ve watched her soften over the years. You know she is scarred. You’ve heard her cry every time you’ve asked her if she wants to give her life to Jesus. She doesn’t think she can be forgiven, but she can. She is gone now - reunited with a family member. You hope and pray that the seeds of love planted will bring healing and freedom. Because that is why you go, that is why you pray, that is why you love.
